Under the direction of George Vosburgh, Thomas Thompson, and Stephen Story, the Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble will perform a multitude of pieces including Marilyn Taft Thomas' Snapshots of a Great City, Varese's Ionisation, and Beckel's The Glass Bead Game featuring Carrie Vertin, horn - 2013 Wind Ensemble Concerto Competition Winner as soloist.
