Visit the School of Music

Bg_v

We invite you to get to know the Carnegie Mellon School of Music by scheduling a visit to campus anytime throughout the year. A Q&A and tour of the School of Music are offered weekdays at 12 noon in the College of Fine Arts Room 108.  Registration is required during the summer months.

The Q&A and tour last approximately one hour. Prospective graduate students are encouraged to make an appointment with one of the admission staff or a faculty member to discuss their specific program.

If you are interested in meeting with a music faculty member, please contact that professor directly. Keep in mind that many of our faculty are working performers and it will be important to contact them well ahead of your trip to campus.

With over 250 concerts a year, our students are busy performing. If you are visiting during the academic year, we hope you will consider attending an event while you are on campus. http://music.cmu.edu/whats-happening
