44th Summer Dalcroze Eurhythmics Workshops

July 1 - 19, 2019

Both The One-Week and Three-Week Workshops offer performers, conductors, music educators (preschool through college), studio teachers, music therapists and movement specialists practical applications of the Dalcroze principles to performance and teaching. Classes in both workshops are offered at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Registration deadline is Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:59pm EST. 


Dalcroze One-Week Workshop

1 grad/undergrad credit (3 units)

July 1-5, 2019

  • Early registration (if full payment is received by April 9th): $870.00 

  • Student early registration (if full payment is received by April 9th): $522.00 (for Full Time Students)

  • Regular registration: $895.00 

  • Student registration: $537.00 (for Full Time Students)


Dalcroze Three-Week Workshop

3 grad/undergrad credits (9 units)

July 1-19, 2019

  • Early registration (if full payment is received by April 9th): $1,995.00 

  • Student early registration  (if full payment is received by April 9th): $1,197.00 (for Full-Time Students

  • Regular registration: $2,300.00 

  • Student registration: $1,380.00 (for Full-Time Students)

* In order to register at the full-time student rate, you must first email proof of student status to music-dalcroze@andrew.cmu.edu and receive a discount code BEFORE proceeding to the registration site.

*Both Workshops are open to students at all levels.

The One-Week Workshop is an introductory course for newcomers and a refresher course for those who have had previous experience in the Dalcroze approach. 

The Three-Week Workshop is designed for those participants interested in pursuing the Dalcroze Certificate as well as for those who would like a more in-depth experience in the Dalcroze approach. For those interested in pursuing the Dalcroze Certificate during the summer, a minimum of two three-week summer workshops (6 credits / 18 units) must be successfully completed before applicants are eligible to take the required exams for the Dalcroze Certificate.
