Trouble in Tahiti
Opera by Leonard Bernstein

With

Kathleen Belcher, stage director
Laurie Rogers, conductor

OVERVIEW:

Trouble in Tahiti depicts the marital friction of a young couple and their yearning for love and fulfillment that gets reflected in shallow consumerism. This opera is a critique to materialism and contemporary society and portrays the not so perfect suburban life of Sam and Dinah.
