C Street Brass is ensemble-in-residence at Carnegie Mellon School of Music. With their distinct interpretations and unified sound, the quintet has quickly established itself as a leading brass ensemble. Placing a premium on concert presentation, C Street Brass' vast repertoire is drawn from the standards of brass quintet literature, classical pops, contemporary music, as well as unique transcriptions from all genres. The program that will be presented on March 4 includes Cole Porter's High Society, selections from Jack Gale's arrangements of Bernstein's West Side Story, Duke Ellington's In a Sentimental Mood, and more.
