Trio Verlaine is a flute, viola, harp ensemble featuring Carnegie Mellon's new professor of viola, David Harding, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra's principal flute, Lorna McGhee and Vancouver Opera principal harp, Heidi Krutzen. The group is particularly interested in the coloristic possibilities of this combination of instruments, and the program will include Debussy's seminal "Sonata for flute, viola, harp," and R.
